These commentaries are opinion essays that I have written over time. The
Lost Wizard is just a handle I acquired some time along the way. These
essays are not meant to be accurate in detail. They reflect my perceptions
of the passing scene or some profound (to me, anyway) thoughts I might have
had. I felt I should share these with the world if I was going to go to the
bother of writing them in the first place.

Every one of them has a date at the bottom of it which indicates the date it
was written. These dates may prove useful in trying to determine the context
for opinion papers or for, if you are interested at all, tracing how my
views have changed over time.

Note that if you wish to reprint any of the documents in this index, you are
welcome to do so, but please keep my name attached to them. I would also
appreciate an email message (to lost+ravings@l-w.net) if you decide to use
any of these documents.
