Yes, but if the TV studio's high-end recorders were capable of recording (and mastering) in 525 horizontal, then the tapes should be 525. How would the editors downgrade the equipment to record only 400? I don't see how that's possible. .. I'm curious to see what will be done with HD-DVD. I would be really annoyed if, in order to fill the full wide-screen monitor, they cut off the top and bottom of the video. The proper format would use black bars on the left & rgiht. troy . 0
