Don't get me wrong, I do believe Star Trek belongs on any list of Top 10 
shows of all time--because it was groundbreaking for its time. 
Roddenberry could not have foreseen the cult following or the lasting 
impact.  But he sure knew he wanted to do a sci-fi TV show that would be 
a major departure from previous TV sci-fi offerings, which were 
basically kiddie shows.  And he succeeded.

But Star Trek is the *only* sci-fi show on my list of Top 10 shows of 
all time.  The other shows on my list are from other genres.
