But he kept his promise! He replaced it with the Harmonized Sales Tax.
It isn't his fault some evil provinces refused to hand over control of
their provincial sales taxes to him - and rolling it into a new tax,
integrated with provincial sales taxes, is all the abolishing he
promised to do with it.
