I think you are referring to "Cause and Effect" .. another excellent TNG episode. I remember the 1st time I saw it. When they kept going thru that "causality loop", I kept scratching my head. It was really shocking when they showed the 1701-D blowing up for the 1st time, and then broke away for the opening commercials, leaving you wondering what the heck just happened! That's why TNG and DS9 are, for me, the best Trek ... just so many great episodes. "Mirab, with sails unfurled ..." . 0
