Interesting, but I don't think so, as IIRC people would be in there for days and eat and drink to their hearts content, while outside Neelix was flying shuttles down to forage for veggies. I don't think it was replicator food, and I do think it was real food; I just don't think it ever occurred to Braga's Bimbos that there was a second food source just sitting there, that they were using, that was endless. Somewhere in the writer's bible it said "always mention food is scarce and Neelix must forage" even though it wasn't true.
