I met Tina Louise (actually "hanged" with her a few times) back in the 70's. My girlfriend (later wife, later late-wife) knew her. I was never comfortable with Tina's "entitlement" attitude. On one hand, she avoided being linked to the show as it was popular in syndication. But on the other hand, she never passed up an opportunity to leverage the fame (to a point). It was rather contradictory and I am still left with the impression that she wasn't very comfortable in her own skin (it was very nice skin I might add:-) Oh...they were real...and they were spectacular! > Imo, Gilligans Island was a landmark show because I think it was the first > to demonstrate just how much stupidity the American public was willing to > support. :-) It and I Love Lucy were the trailblazers for syndicated television. - gnb . 0
