They'd all have been horrified to see me biking to my prenatal appointments. 
If I hadn't had to carry a suitcase I'd have biked to the hospital to 
deliver.   ;o)  The receptionist used to have a cow each time I came with my 
backpack on.  "Mrs. M., you're going to fall off that bike and hurt that 
baby!"  "Hey, I don't know how to drive and I don't feel like walking, so 
get off my back!"
