He didn't ask her for a date, he asked her for sex. Big difference there in 
my book.  Also, when she turned down the preop nookie, he asked if she'd 
like to help him launch Little Lucien postop.  He asked more than once and 
he asked for something much more intimate than a mere date.

Actually, we have seen it repeatedly over the years, at least between med 
students and residents.  We haven't seen that residents and attendings 
aren't allowed, though.

Once again, asking for sex is not the same as asking for a date and I think 
a lot of legal experts would agree.

Asking a woman with whom he has nothing more than a professional 
relationship to sleep with him is indeed socially inept and stupid where I 
come from.

I'm sorry, but you think asking for sex is the same thing as asking for a 
date and I'm the one who is bizarre?  LOL!!!!  Anyway, I'd agree, if Abby 
gave the sex therapist any personal info on Dubenko or God forbid hooked him 
up with her, he'd have plenty of reason to complain. If nothing else, he 
asked Abby to service him, not to act as his pimp.  However, doesn't sexual 
harrassment require that one person hold some power or control in the work 
environment?  Dubenko is Abby's superior, so I'm not sure he could complain 
she was sexually harrassing him since she has no power over him in the 
workplace.
