The estimate was several pages long of stuff that was going to need to be replaced. Insurance company wasn't impressed! LOL! For some reason, we still had collision on the car and they ended up giving us $1500. We put it in the bank to start saving up for a new car. With our tax refund, we bought a 1998 Ford Taurus. The accident occurred almost 3 years ago. I was on the way home from a baby shower and he's almost 3 yo now. As far as the impact on the those of us in the car, I had some sore muscles for the next few days, but nothing more serious than that. We were all wearing seatbelts.
