Not at all. The darkness was what made him so good. Hubby and I both 
rank Dalton after Connery in the Bond quality list. I didn't realize he 
was that much older than Brosnan, though, and haven't seen him in 
anything in some time. (I do still haul out my tape of "Flash Gordon" on 
a fairly regular basis, though...)
