Thanks, I'll check on the revocation checking, I remember seeing that in 
internet settings somewhere. I don't think it's loading anything as there isn't 
really any disk activity during the 15 second pauses.

operations as well as to load the DLLs and swap in the code to perform this 
operation as it probably isn't already loaded and resident.  If revocation 
checking is enabled there could be network activity too.
