Dik wrote: > Did you perhaps have printf statements inside the loop? > Hello Casper, The hacked little program I posted earlier did, indeed, have a printf inside the loop, but only because this little hacked program was meant only to measure the max time difference between t1 and t2 (apparently incorrectly due to rollover as pointed out kindly by Greg Menke). This hacked little program was not meant to keep consistent 10 ms timing... my other program that attempts 10 ms timing does not, of course, have any printfs or couts inside the loop. Also my other program, as expected, keeps track of how long the "work" portion of the loop took, and only sleeps the difference between how long the "work" took and the required 10 ms. Thanks. . 0
