I know that the atomics, mutexes, etc need to be ported, but that can easily be wrapped up. And they would need to be ported anyhow. I was wondering if the technique was portable. Which is also why I wanted to get a 'feel' for how portable it was. If priority setting (or whatever technique I choose) is widely available and only fails on esoteric systems, then that's good enough for me. (for some def'n of 'esoteric') Tony . 0
