Subj : Newbie needing major help!

I'm a newbie using a program called jGrasp developed by Auburn 
University to write my programs.  jGrasp programs in Java, C, C++, 
ADA-95, VHDL, and Objective C.  I need a compiler though.  I tried 
cygwin, but it won't work for some reaon.  A friend recommended Borland 
for a compiler.  I'd like to use it, but I'm not sure where to download 
it.  Can somebody help me out?
