One way around this whole problem is of course to have a USB to Serial port
converter.
These have been supplied by my customer, to his customers who use my
software.
The converter works well, but apparently this customers are sometimes
reluctant to take the trouble to install the Hardware's driver, so my
customer has suggested that we should invoke the drivers ourselves.
By this he means we would have all the driver files on out setup disk, then
somehow set up the driver from within my program.

Is there a way to do this, or perhaps just having the files on the cd would
suffice?
