I dumped the pointer value and I expected it to be 0.
but it came out as 1.  When you looked at proc_id = 1, the proc_id isn't really 1, its value is coming from table and the value is usually a big number like 40002393.  
If you thought that I might assign proc_id value to the pointer,
it was not the case.
