Has any one used the MSComm component from Microsoft Studio .NET in a
Builder 6 serial communication application?  I seem to have imported the
control correctly and appear to be able to open the port without problem.
But to output (MSComm->Output = ) a character causes an exception that I've
used an invalid type.  I've tried variant, Ansistring and int to no avail.
Perhaps part of the problem is my own understand of how Borland Builder 6
works.  In any case, any guidance would be greatly appreciated.  You can
