Today the DJIA30 was all over the map. The S&P500 was a little better
buffered, but in the end prices were little changed, +3pts when it would
take 21pts either way to be significant now, and volume only +2% above
average.
Actually, this is a little surprizing. Options expire tomorrow, trades
had to be in to your broker today, Wednesday would have been better.
But volume has been very nearly average the past three days. Maybe
that's an indication the traders are laying low these days.

Timing Signals: I don't use or recommend timing signals, but they're
fun to watch. If I did though, well, I might use something like this.
(Be warned!! It tends to whipsaw around signal points!)
Last Signal: Buy Date: 10/01/03 S&P: 1018
