Thanks for your message.

I use Telix for Windows, and I got a response from someone on the Telix
echo that pointed me in the right direction. Now I can telnet via
Telix and have ZModem facility too (allowing me to download BlueWave
packets of Fido echos) - Ah! The sweet smell of success. The only
problem now is to find the time to read all the messages I can now
successfully download  :-)
