Celestia[1]  used  to crash Xorg on my laptop (Mobility Radeon X1300).
  Now it works fine. Don't know what fixed it -- the last time  I  tried
  it was several years ago.

  I  enjoy  this program so much. You can fly through the universe as we
  know it. Celestia is not a game but a scientific program.  This  means
  what you see is quite accurate.

  Almost feels like Star Trek.
