Th Things become more complicated on VAX-VMS systems. :) Anyways, you should be able to type 'irc' at your Unix (or Ultrix, or SunOS, or...) prompt and this will get you IRC. Once you are in you may choose a 'nickname' (the default is your system user id) by typing /nick MyNameHere. To join the Apple IIgs discussion type /join #AppleIIgs. Its easy.
