Edit block 2, which is the first block of the root directory. The first two bytes are the link to the previous block. There is none, so zero is right. The second two are the link to the next block in the directory, which should be $0003, so change the byte at offset 2 to be a 3. First 4 bytes should now be: 00 00 03 00 (the 03 00 is $0003...the low-order byte always comes first). One more fix is needed. At offset $22 (still in block 2) is the "access" word for the main directory. You'll find that it's zero, but you want it to be $E3.
