I answered my own question while entering the text for the first message in this folder.  What I had wanted to know was, can I install Micol Advanced Basic IIe in the ORCA Desktop.

The answer is quite simple.  It may work, but DON'T!!  ORCA's DeskTop allows for the creation of SYS16 programs, CDA's and NDA's.  Imagine a ProDOS 8 NDA!!!  Of course, it would probably work, but why go through all the hassle of compiling to a SYS16 program only to have to convert it to P8 or run it only on a GS?

It doesn't seem very conducive to creating a program that runs by itself--as in without the specially patched copy of ProDOS 1.9 that came with it.  It seems that I will have to rename ANY program I create to MICOL.ADV.BASIC!!!!

That's not exactly what I bought a compiler for, nor did I wish to spend this kind of effort trying to create BIN files.  Will the IIgs version of this compiler create ProDOS 8 programs?  I mean FileType $FF.  BIN files don't launch very well from the Finder.  :(
