       @mntmn this is true! I did some smart TV development work around Metrological's platform (which is based on WPE) some years back and I remember being very impressed with how it performed on a Raspberry Pi 3. I'm a bit surprised nobody has done this!

       @fribbledom it has the opposite effect on me where I try to keep everything neat and contained and pure functional and passing thousands of lint rules to maintain my own sanity. I'm much happier leaving spaghetti code as it is in Rust because the compiler provides so many guarantees.
