       @stux @rbreich the fediverse has a long history of “hall monitoring”with regards to people’s behavior.It’s been nice that the fediverse has relaxed a bit while still retaining lots of what makes the fediverse unique/special.People need to learn to mute vs report when they see users acting differently.Anyways, thanks for being a tireless admin of several large instances. Must be tiring dealing with this nuance on a constant basis.

       @stux I lived for 10 years on “the peninsula” south of San Francisco ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Francisco_Peninsula ) operating solely by bike, bus and train.Many American cities are designed in ways where it’s not only inconvenient but nearly impossible to operate without out a car an not lose 3-4 days per day to spotty bus service.These things are deliberate choices by city planners, but it’s still possible to operate without a car! ☺️☺️☺️
