@eff I still use RSS wherever I can, but it seems less common these days. My theory is that with all of the ad revenue and that sweet sweetie tracking data many site prefer to not make it available.

@eff The best thing you can do for your privacy is opt out of Instagram entirely. Opt out of all Meta platforms and your quality of life will improve immediately. I had Instagram because I had some family where that was our only link. The connection was fake. Occasionally liking someone's photos isn't a real connection.

@torproject On top of the pre installed app that can't be removed I have Google mobile services hitting me up almost weekly to install more crap. It strikes me as odd that the only phones supporting graphene is are Google pixels. I should have paid the extra $100s to buy on of them. I'm happy with the hardware i purchased, but trying to degoogle is impossible.

@eff @Adam_D_Schwartz Yeah, no thanks. Even if you don't use it there is no telling if anyone else in the room has this feature activated. As if we didn't have enough privacy invasive tech already.
