       I disappeared from Mastodon for a little while. I ended up in hospital because of a chronic subdural hematoma. It all started with a sudden loss of strength on the left side of my body. I couldn't even get dressed on my own. Thankfully, the surgery went well, I'm back home now, and I'm doing well. I chose this photograph for my return because it captures, better than words, what was happening inside my mind at the time.        @jonlord This is a fascinating photograph. I love the way you handled the light. The almost overexposed areas feel like a deliberate artistic choice, giving the image a wonderful sense of lightness. My eyes keep wandering between the details on the left and right sides of the frame. It has something of a finely crafted sketch while still preserving the atmosphere of the place.        @jonlord It certainly looks that way, although with street photography we can never really be sure. It was just a fleeting moment, a single gesture and expression caught through the window. The rest is left to the imagination.
