       Onto the second 54813B scope. This one immediately boots up to a BIOS screen. It has 512MB instead of 256MB of memory. But it doesn’t detect a HD.This makes sense… because when I open it up, it doesn’t have one. It also doesn’t have any of the IDE cables or the special adapter board to connect to the LS120 floppy drive. I think I’ll simply give up on the LS120 floppy drive, but 2 IDE cables and a compact flash adapter. That concludes the work for today.

       Looking good!The seller of the logic analyzer gave me his address and phone number so that I could return it if it didn’t work, but that won’t be necessary. This will replace my HP 1670G which works fine, but it was way too slow to download data to my PC for post processing. Signal generator seems fine, except that the buttons are a pain. You need to press multiple times from them to register.

       @azonenberg This thing comes with a USB stick with Windows control SW similar to R&S WinIQSim. But yes. :-)
