       So, uh, I collect old game controllers - mostly gamepads, but a few joysticks, mice, and weirder things here and there. You can see some of them in the photo below. This collection - and attempting to appropriately document and meaningfully share it - is why I joined Mastodon in the first place.        A few-months-in update to my #Sony #WH1000XM5 headphones, and: for my use cases, I dearly wish I'd bought something else.Pros: Incredible sound quality (both out and in, I've had people pause in meetings to compliment how good my voice sounds), great battery life, unbelievable comfort (I could wear these for 8 hours a day), can connect to and seamlessly switch between two devices (crucial, my work day is a mix of music on my phone and work meetings).But the cons.        This will be the longest of long shots, but: a decade ago, I backed the #Coostr on Kickstarter - it's a funny little drink coaster in the shape of a turtle and you can pop the shell up when it's not got a drink on it.If you did the same, and still have them collecting dust somewhere - could I have them? I bought a bunch but have lost most of them through multiple house moves and a breakup, and it looks like the website went down permanently in late 2024.

We'd be so much further ahead as a species if we just got the fuck over some folks being different from some other folks.I mean, there's plenty of other settings that would have similar results, but I don't dare so much as look at the religion control panel without at least a doctorate in playing god
