       i swear i should never go to the main office, every time i am there something pisses me off(this time it was "everybody needs to try out the AI tools and report on what works for you and what doesn't")(i was seriously considering launching myself out the door, this was like stage 2 in what I fled here from Old Job to escape from) (please commission painted miniatures from me so i can build a portfolio, you don't even need to pay me cash money)

       "If you don't want to use AI to write you can use it to e.g. format data into tables but you must try it" I'm a writer. My words draw from my soul, my senses, my experiences. This humanity shows though even in the driest of legal or technical text. That's how you intuitively feel something's off when you read slop. AndI'm autistic and fucking love tables. You want to see my brain whirring happily, you give me data and I will crank out the dang tables faster than you thought humanly possible

       Also I only slept 2 hours last night so I just want to pass out and I'd much rather be painting tonight than spending all evening stabbing my embroidery. Again. If I actually want to get any of that Warhammer One Million Miniatures swag (nbd if I don't, but I like the external motivation)

       It's not a deliberated choice. No attempt to justify my position by rational argument will sound convincing because the very idea of engaging with generative AI causes me a physical pain/flight response. It's literally like telling me to put my hand on a hot stove; the same nervous system response as my therapist says is related to my discomfort at looking at faces (except nobody has literal daggers for eyes and demanding me to shove my face into them) or driving a car
