       @LeahKiser It's possible that full support isn't there? My Asus Vivobook K501 rarely ran in to trouble, it was a blown battery that led to it's replacement 2 years ago. The Asus Vivobook S15 does not play nicely, I have had to be selective over which kernel I use to get the most stability but even then it is a bit hit and miss. Having read some of @davidrevoy reviews I'm going to be tinkering a bit more with Mint to see if that helps even before I pick up a graphics tablet, and also look at the other distros. Worst case scenario I'm going to have to think about a new laptop/desktop just to make it tolerable doing the basics, there will be no going back to Windows.

       @davidrevoy This is fantastic! Thank you for putting so much detail into this guide. It's been a long time since I have stepped away from Ubuntu and Mint, but I now have a KDE Neon Live USB to play with and see if it's stable enough with my laptop.😀
