There really is an opportunity to do some interesting psychological research on why people are so much more willing to write documentation and detailed instructions for AI agents to write code for them than for other human beings to write code for them.

@davidgerard my favorite part of this is where he admits he spends $90,000 a month worth of tokens to work on a 30-year-old game because he wants the AI to do it for him (which he has created 12 Google Max accounts to cheat the token bills for so that he pays less, I am sure Google will be happy about that)bitch I just program that shit myself. 100% free! you have totally lost the meaning of the word "passion project." this game isn't your hobby. you don't even know what's in the game anymore. @zzt @davidgerard it would frankly be a mercy killing, the reviews are absolutely brutal. "LLMs can't fix your shitty internal culture" should be a mantra. when you're reading his blog post you should bear in mind he's talking about an MMO with like 5 playershere is the link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1541710/Wyvern/Steam doesn't seem to have a dedicated "store page is inaccurate or misleading" report option but if you figure one out let me know

@zzt @davidgerard holy moly it's even worse than I thought. he has stood up bots as GMs, not just for turning his codebase into sludge. his volunteer team has to talk to Claude. he has a "player abuse monitor" handled by Claude. he has more LLMs running in his game than actual human beings playing it.
