       @teto There are a few ways to try to guess chinese population. Most of what I've seen, using different ways to guess ranges from 1.2billion to about 500million.I'm not sure if this person could get that low even if only counting 'able-bodied' chinese.        @Dan_Ramos I actually don't care. It will drop eventually. Computers are powerful enough to last more than 10 years as long as its not running anything made by apple or microsoft. Maybe some people will pick their software more carefully.

       @Goalkeeper @teto linux guys will argue the shit out of every single line of code, method of programming, optimal algorithms, programming language, paired hardware, and literally anything else. At least it makes the software ecosystem stronger, such as re-writing the linux thread scheduler a dozen times over with several different but incredible options.

       @gabriel Look at the life of Noah Webster. Made the first American English dictionary to help prevent the language from drifting enough to change the meaning of the bible. Before he started on that, he taught himself 26 different languages to make the most accurate dictionary possible.Also made numerous gradeschool textbooks that were so consistent that even the most vocal people who didn't like God in the textbooks, still used it because of how concise and accurate they all are.
