@internetarchive You're right. Preservation *IS* important. I like #InternetArchive a lot, but it's UI is clunky and cumbersome. The metadata on archived items is often unchecked. Overall, the site has a 1990s feel and needs major renovations. I hate to see it like it is and I would like to help do something about it.

@jonlord In monochrome, it seems to be a vintage photograph. However, looking at the details, modern cars are seen parked at the side of the road, the names of advertisers are modern, and one advert even has a URL. Nice work with the #altText. I wish everybody provided it for images they post and with such detail as this one. It might be nice to mention the name at the top of the streetcar and the advert text, too, but still good. #altText4All

@jonlord Cool. I also meant to compliment you on the composition of that photo. It must've taken careful timing to capture those streetcars in just the right position. It really makes the viewer think about it, I'm sure. I enjoy the photo partly because my father lived several years of his childhood in a house made from a streetcar. He told me about it numerous times. Seeing streetcars always reminds me of him.
