@mntmn There are people who do not see what an idea could develop into. It's not important what the product is now compared to alternatives. But where it''s heading to. And MNT is constantly improving, gaining community attention. Remember, Linux and free OS was also an idea more than 3 decades ago.

@mntmn @chengdulittlea Wonderful, as I am waiting for MNT Classic Reform to ship soon too, with the the RK3588 chip. It’s perfect timing as I will be able to get the upgrade module with the MNT desktop when available. It will satisfy my compute needs. Being able to use the hardware across multiple platforms is something unique in today’s market.

@mntmn Yesterday while browsing RK3588 and other hardware, noticed increase at the manufacturer site. Will the price change have an impact to orders placed prior 2026? I'm willing to cover the difference.

@mntmn Okay, we’re having a terminal device from Google. Laptop shell with monitor and keyboard+pad and only network capabilities. I guess it’s way cheaper to build those and let the phones and servers do the work. It’s e-brick without connection to the internet.

@mntmn I envy those Reform Next silver chassis. They will wear nicely with time. I wish the Classic I'm waiting had this silver option as a choice. Can't help myself imagine having copper screw heads and elements, will be so steam punk!
