       @bartholin @fiore @raccoon you wouldn't say "chili sin carne" that doesn't make sense. the classic dish is "chili con carne", with the chillis being the signature ingredient. if i were to make my chili con frijoles shortening it to "chili" is completely appropriate.i don't know why i'm arguing this, i'm literally born and raised in occupied Mexico (south Texas). aren't y'all european? opinion discarded.

       my jimmies get unreasonably rustled when people parrot the "humans evolved to be endurance runners to chase our prey to exhaustion" factoid as if it were truth. like it's a barely-accepted hypothesis that gets repeated as if it were gospel. unironically this is how we get asinine "biological sex"-type brainworms from people just internalizing whatever theory "sounds good to me" based on prior biases.evolution failed us, we're too fucking stupid for modernity. ngmi.
