       @mntmn I've tried almost all of the software mentioned here and finally gave up and went with 15 year old Macs. The software for them is free now. Logic Pro 9 still has more features than any Linux DAW, IMHO. The latest version of Reaper runs well on my 2009 Mac mini! I have well over 100 free VST and AU plugins.I'm going to try Linux again using Reaper with the Carla host for VSTs, AUs, etc. If it works well I'll start using Linux for music again.

       @lynnesbian I wonder if making activitypub based buying, selling, and banking platforms is possible. I mean, can't we replace the internet we're forced to use with one we'd like to use?

       @EUCommission Apparently it isn't IDAHOT anymore, it's IDAHOBIT. I'm familiar with the awful deep red State of Idaho and find the ironic acronyms funny and excellent.        @stux I have the same frustration when the BBC or PBS's top news story is about "the negotiations".  Trump and Co. are so bad at negotiating that there are no real negotiations. It's mostly showbiz on the US side and clever manipulation on the other.
