       Fun #HaikuOS fact of the day: for the first time (as far as I know), we are listed in the affected systems for a CVE. Upon closer inspection, it turns out the affected code (a bug in telnetd dating back to 1994) is behindea compiler guard and not actually enabled in our version.        The bluetooth specification uses what looks like a several meters high antenna mast/tower to represent the "wireless" part. And a red bolt to represent the radio waves.I'm pretty sure the actual setup didn't look quite that exciting.

       Today's random things done:- improved handling of incorrectly padded iff-ilbm files in grafx2 (some neochrome versions didn't add the padding between chunks)- continued reverse engineering the custom disassembler plugin code for my logic analyzer. Slow progress but I get better at reading 68000 code- asked for more info to the last place who might have gp2x ext connectors in stock, noweI'm fairly sure they had an inventory mixup, but I don't know if they have the connector I need

       So, as mentioned above, my GP2x found itself near the top of my TODO pile again. I bought it new when I was a student and had not enough money for the cradle back then. And now it's impossible to find a cradle (unless I buy a second console with it).I wanted to build my own devboard for it, but couldn't find the connector a few years ago. Well, I just had to search deeper. I eventually orderd one from Wexim, who has no pictures and mis-referenced it for the wrong series of LG phones!

       I asked them for extra info on that connector and their reply was along the line of "hey, it costs just 3€, just buy one and see if it fits your console!". Fair enough. So I did just that, and it's indeed the right one :DSo, if you look for an EXT connector for a GP2x, or anything else that uses the TTA-24 standard connector, this is what you need: https://www.wexim.com/cgi-bin/shop/C-LG7.htmlNo need to use a slightly different Hirose connector and cut it to the right shape as some other people did!

       Please use and spread that info wisely. I don't want someone to buy and hoard all their stock.Also, the ordering process is a bit sketchy, you have to manually enter the order number and how much you want to pay in their Stripe account. And also the invoice was printed on half a sheet of recycled paper, with some unrelated thing on the back. I guess I was lucky that this whole thing is still online and didn't get rid of its inventory.Now I'm waiting for the PCB for the devboard...

       After 20 years, my GP2x is finally getting ready to communicate with the outside world!The pin ordering I chose for the DB25 connector is... not great, I didn't take into consideration that the tiny connector would require putting the wires "out of order" on its back (basically, one row of odd and one row of even pins). If I do a second revision of the devboard I'll use a simpler ordering and probably a less bulky connector.

       @jadedctrl I will be reading your notes, because one of my near-future projects is doing things with my GP2x, which runs Linux 2.4 (I don't know what I will do with it, maybe I don't need to recompile the kernel).
