       @Gargron I've read machine translated versions of Beowulf, which I've read in various translations dozens of times. It's my favorite story of all time. And Old English, like Old Norse is a very descriptive language with hidden meaning behind it. And these machines loose those linquistic nuances. You can tell when a medieval text is machine translated...because they're not all that exciting. And Beowulf is exciting!

       @stux If...they're not all tried for treason and hung here first. Treason under the US Constitution is death. Being tried in The Hauge would be a mercy.

       @stux Old people are so fun! I care for my 80 year old grandmother. Let's just say there is never a dull moment. She hasn't left eggs on the oven...in a while. But they're like adorable little children that don't smell terrible. She smells like this old perfume called Taboo.

       @gamingonlinux When I as a teenager, I had my own internet connection. A wireless 1.5Mb connection to a WiFi provider I knew. Very a head of the curve. But my parents were/are douchebags and I had to work. My princess sister hasn't worked a day in her life. I never let them use my IP connection. Made them get their own. Fair right? So they get a dialup connection, and the first time my mom used it, she starts screaming thinking the computer was exploding because of the modem noises.
