       The #JapaneseGarden in The Hague is closed again. I managed to squeeze in a brief visit on Friday. I do wonder if limiting the opening to a few weeks in spring and autumn really works to preserve the garden, or whether it would be better to open it all year round to avoid the twice yearly stampede. There are Japanese gardens in many major cities that are part of city life and are rarely crowded! #TheHague #Japan #Garden

       @Gargron You place that cutoff remarkably late. Otherwise, who do you expect to argue? I won’tMoney is the reason. Movies have become investment vehicles, and investors want safety. Thus aiming for the biggest audiences, and most people want slop. Not just the looks, the storylines, characters, anything, aren’t much better. Am I too cynical? Think not
