I am so repulsed at most of the internet, computer applications, etc that I find myself doing more activities offline and off of the computer and phone. My time on the computer and internet are done less advanced programs and definitely less algorithmic or live websites. I am to the point now, if I can't pull a website, esp one used for reading and current events, in my RSS reader, I avoid it. Vinyl records making a comeback brings hope that someday the good internet and applications will make a comeback. I'm an old school BBS user, too. Been around since the before the mainstream start. #Enshittification

@stux I'm slowly de- #enshittification my life. I am cutting everything that "Now improved with AI..." All my primary applications have been swapped out for "dumb" ones. My browser is degoogled. I have a stack of notebooks on my desk and several of those little ones for my pocket. lol. My fedi timeline has like 50 different subjects, topics, plots and storylines going on right now from different subsets of users. I accidentally was reading a couple users from different storylines (threads) as one when some of the users of one storyline crossed over to another storyline and I was getting ever confused. It kept me on my toes, though.
