       @delta i've lost all my accounts and settings after updating in macos. it's fine because i had second device in a phone to transfer that back. but yeah that was scary

       Here we go! The first release of my native Delta Chat client for GNOME is out! https://github.com/trufae/deltachat-gnome/releases/tag/0.2.0 cc @delta @gnome i'm using it in daily basis, and it's quite stable right now, but still lacks many features from the official client, I would love to hear from your feedback if you try it!

       A new release of Parla is out! The 0.2.2 release of the #deltachat client for GNOME resolved some of the most usability and feature requests! There's still a long path to reach feature parity with the official one, but i'm on my way! https://github.com/trufae/parla/

       Parla is no longer depending on DeltachatDesktop to work, it's now able to create, transfer profiles and relays by itself. Looking forward distros to help me draw the best way to ship a separate jsonrpc server, maybe even sandboxed separately from the UI app for security reasons. i'm open to suggestions here :) But hopefully this way we can get the flatpak ready https://github.com/trufae/parla/releases/tag/0.2.4 #deltachat #gnome #flatpak

       just to clarify, i did not received a cent to make Parla. I wished delta didnt mentioned several topics with mentions in the same post to avoid confussions and tons of mentions :D

       @arcanechat i am doing Parla for fun in my spare time, not because any monetary interest or request from any funding and I am not part of the deltachat or chatmail devteam. I just tried to clarify the confussion as some people thought that was not the case.But yeah i use jsonrpc and chatmail servers, but i think it’s misleading to mix both topics in the same post for the stated reasons. Nevertheless I’m happy to see interest in making chatmail better and supporting it in any way, even economically.

       @bugaevc wait! is the posix mode back to Vala? I had to workaround that to keep some of my non glib projects alive at the time.
