Just got a delivery of TWO bags of cat litter. The moment I put them inside, George chewed right through both of them, puncturing the plastic with his little kitty fangs. That got me to immediately change their litterboxes, refill the extra-litter storage bin, take out the trash, and break down the box and put it into recycling, which required waterproof boots and outerwear because we're currently getting several inches of snow. Alternative would have been getting several inches of kitty litter on my floor. Thanks, George!

@LadyMont The drawing didn't just make her skinnier. It changed the waist-to-hip ratio. Drawings are more "cartoony" the more they exaggerate certain traits. Women have hourglass figures compared to men, who have V-shapes (big shoulders tapering straight down to narrow hips). This is the nature of (young, fertile) women and men, and exaggerating these traits makes a cartoon more recognizable as essence-of-woman and essence-of-man. It's not all nefarious impossible beauty standards. It's just cartooning, shorthand exaggerating proportions.

@GalacticTurtle I have never enjoyed visiting London. Have done maybe 10 times? It's overpriced, usually cold, expensive squalor in pre-modern urban sprawl. But you can "lose pounds quickly" there if that's your bag, which may be pickpocketed.

I have had eczema in my ears since my late teens. Doctors have prescribed OTC cortisone cream, calendula cream, and eczema cream, which helped maybe 10% at best.Recently a fellow sufferer told me ocean swimming seemed to improve her symptoms. I had leftover 3% saline solution after switching to 7% for treating my Bronchiectasis (lung condition) so started swabbing my ears with it twice daily.It works. So much better now. Wish I hadn't had to wait until I was 58 to learn this. Wish doctors knew about it. Posting in case anyone with this annoying distracting maddening condition can use this info.MOAR SALT!

@LadyMont Itches, burns, flakes and peels. I had to frequently remove dead skin from (ie pick) my ears or else it would accumulate in my ear canals and itch even more. Finally don't have to do that. Big relief.

Bought myself an ice cream maker and made ice cream. Also made warm fudge sauce, since I was already working with chocolate (TERFfles). The two together are AMAZING. Sometimes the things I produce in the kitchen are so good I feel sorry for the rest of the world for not getting to enjoy it.

@Flick I have been making from-scratch small pizzas in my air fryer/toaster oven, which currently renders better results than my actual oven. This one has goat cheese and almonds, along with pesto rosso, marinated red peppers, cheddar and parmesan.
