       Browsers were made to display walls of text, it’s the one thing they do best. They can literally render the entire War and Peace as a single static HTML page, no problems.So why is your annoying React app removing (“virtualizing”) 8 paragraphs of a tiny 10-paragraph document the moment they go 1px off screen? Literally breaking search, selection, copy all, sometimes scroll. What are you optimizing for?

       @wolf480pl Yeah, I think observation about loss of meaning is spot on (and I definitely relived one myself), but the part about explaining what OSS is more imprecise. IMO it’s all about helping other people, and when the person on the other end disappears the whole game becomes pointless
