       i am so tired of "ethical concerns aside" being a phrase i see every single time someone tries to defend the use of LLMs. fuck that! ethical concerns front and fucking center! it is very revealing that tech is currently in such a state that the quiet part can be said out loud without any pushback.

       i have signed today for a fully remote haskell job with no genAI mandate; i couldn't be more thrilled, that's basically exactly what i was looking for! i'm delighted to get to use haskell professionally again.and this doesn't mean i'm abandoning Piètre; it's been hard to maintain a regular stream schedule the last few weeks, and my schedule might continue to be a bit irregular as i settle into the job, but my plan is to continue working on it :)
