Bandcamp gets Subsonic support! Great option for non-self-hosters. A large part of my Navidrome server is from Bandcamp, so even I'd get most of the way there just with this, even though I've very manually cultivated a local library of music. This could be a great gateway drug to switching from subscription based streaming services to owned digital music, I hope. Though obviously, if you don't download the songs and back them up, there's still the danger of the service going down or blocking access, like any old streaming service. https://blog.bandcamp.com/2026/07/16/discover-improvements-and-subsonic-implementation/

If throwing skulls in goals while teleporting and instagibbing your friends to get there sounds like your kind of fun, @kybernoita just released SkullBall, a game about exactly that! I also made some maps for the game. Here's the itch.io, coming to Steam later: https://teascade.itch.io/skullball

Is vibecoded but freely licensed software really free software, if it's unmaintainable and unreadable, as these tend to be? It's missing freedom #1, just from a more "practically possible" rather than "legally allowed" standpoint.

Back online! My old social media Raspberry Pi fell over last week, today finally got around to migrating the instance to my main server. Back to a (dockerized) source installation. Seems to work?Might look into a front-end, now that there's a bit more hardware to run it on...
