@fiore@brain.worm.pink In general I've never really understood passionate "hate" of a programming language, it feels very forced. Disliking using it or disagreeing with design decisions sure. But going out of your way to trash it feels very……childish.

I kinda wish I was comfortable with another keyboard layout but I don't really want to go through the bother of learning a new one. The reason is typing curly braces, especially { on the Nordic layout is not pleasant.alt gr + 7 😔

I reject the idea of political labels because I reject succumbing to the arrogance of assuming I have anything to contribute, I reject the idea of perfect information, that one can know the true political state as a foundation for ones own political convictions.How can one form the opinions on the "right path of history" when insomuch as what even counts as history is debated. We are not even remotely close to a perfect recordkeeping, so many events, actions, opinions and thoughts never recorded, relegated to the dustbin of history.My main opposition to the idea of the increasing organic rationalisation of the state is my, and this is one of my few steadfast beliefs at this point, conviction of the incapability of steadying the entropy of the human realm, let alone the world itself. We can never form true opinions on the past to then use to inform our wishes for the future. We are agents too caught up with the immediate to ever be able to think of something long term. Even our long term plans are clouded with the obsession over immediate reapings. And how those plans even are formulated hinge upon our current perception of the past and present.The future does not exist, not in the sense that we can imagine and understand it, nor will there be a time in the future where we can look back at our current present as the past, for the records of the past are forever inaccurate and unclear.Activists talk of driving change but how can we know that what we do is a hammer against a nail, we merely liken our actions to the hammer, and the ends as the nail that we drove in, ignorant to the truth. Nor can we even know if hammering in the nail is something desirable at all!
