So far you've told me:- Something about "dash boards" and "graph anal", I have no idea what those are- Something about dynamic DnD maps. Sounds cool, but not sure if presenting a JPEG is better than puzzling Gloomhaven maps.- Art/vanity display, sounds good, but I'm not sure how to source that art and doing it by hand sounds painful- Cameras: Creepy

A random recent #3DPrinting discovery for me was multi-line infill. Making TPMS-D infill 3 lines thick really makes part feel so much better when held, and doesn't take much longer to print. I suspect wall may have less "give" when pressed, but it really makes a different. Switched to it few months ago and haven't looked back since.

@Miaourt Fair enough, and as a matter of fact I still need to port my patches to 4.6...Anyway, here's the juice: https://github.com/nadiamoe/owo.cafe/blob/ade3b432219cc9068efac7ff42386a18777cd9ae/Dockerfile#L53Essentially the dockerfile bases off mastodon's, and then copies over an overlay directory (for simple things that you can drop-in, like css files) and also applies patches to ruby code. Then it recompiles assets and stuff.

So I have a fleet of lenovo minipcs I use for all sorts of home compute, including HTPC. Other than jellyfin I also use that pc to play mostly indie 2D titles on the TV, which used to run pretty ok except for when shaders were used to make sun, rain, or fog effects, where perf tanked to 20fps.I then came across this (https://www.gfxstrand.net/faith/blog/2020/11/getting-the-most-out-of-your-intel/) post by @gfxstrand which suggested adding a second stick of ram for dual-channel benefits and HOLY HELL what difference has that made. For 15 bucks worth of DDR4 I basically doubled FPS for heavily shaded scenes. 10/10 can recommend doing that, and I think it is hecking amazing when smart folks share this kind of tips online :blobcatHeartHug:
