       @luci Hi, for the moment it still does, as we haven't finalized Murena Maps. Though the default app on /e/OS is free, we want to replace it as soon as possible. Murena Maps is in Beta at the moment. Let us know, if you want to try it!

Please take a look at our documentation: https://doc.e.foundation/os/apps/maps/You'll see that, although Magic Earth is not open-source, it is privacy-respecting and they share their values in a statement. For us, it was the compromise to have a well functioning app for daily use. Underneath you'll also see how to participate in Beta testing of Murena Maps (not account needed).

       @aproposnix Our team is aware of this problem and it is one of our most important priorities for the next update. The problem has to be fixed on both sides (hardware and software), and our team has indeed found a temporary fix. It's part of 4.3, which already started to roll out on some devices.
